My wife told me that the check engine light went on, I checked the fuel cap and it was not tightly closed. I closed it, but the light did not go off. After filling gas the light went off, but then it lit again. Since then it goes off and on depending on the level of fuel in the tank.

Any suggestions?

What is the production year of your MPV danmbruck?? do you have any code numbers as to why the CEL is on?

 

Thank you for the response. The MPV is a 2001. It seems that it just was the fuel cap, since my wife informed me that it did not lit again for two fueling cycles now. I do not have any codes, I do not have the code reader.
