So we have a 02 mpv, we have the codes p0171 & P0174. The dealership today tells us it's the pcv hose has collapsed and has a hole in it. We did get the recall done the first time in 2004. They don't have the part and need to order it, so in the mean time say that they put tape around it, but it's still running just as bad as before. Keeps jumping forward and back while stopped.
So I'm wondering if this is something that is likely to go wrong or is it a bad part? Not looking forward to paying over $100 for a hose...
We have almost 140,000 kms on the van.
