2002 MPV LX Hesatation@2200-2500 RPM

My wife's 02 MPV has right at 88K miles on it and it has been a very good vehicle for our family.
Recently it has began to hesatate during excellaeration in fist and seacond gear around 2200-2500
RPM. it then clears out with a miss here and there at low rpms. I have had one of the coils replaced in the past two-years ago aonf with the spark plugs but I am not sure which coil was replaced at the moment. please help me with any adise yall can give me. I have read other posts and will follow through with suggstions that are similiar to mine.

 

I would probably start by cleaning the MAF hotwire,throttlebody and injectors. It is also due a fuel filter if you have'nt replaced it. A bottle of Techron or Seafoam in the gas tank once every month or 2 does wonders to keep the injectors clean and carbon accumulation to a minimum. Those were bad about carbon accumulation in the EGR ports which will cause a misfire code. Yours is about due a cleaning. The upper intake plenum must be removed to clean them. Pretty easy.

can this be removed with commen tools? or does it require spieacial tools?

 

I though the MPV didn't use a fuel filter. When I ever I go to the auto parts store they mark a N/A for fuel filter in their book? 2000 MPV

 

is this true? is there not a fuel filter?
