The remote door lock (front, driver side) on my 2000 mpv makes a screeching sound when the remote is pressed. It will not unlock or lock the door. The locks on the other doors work fine. Does anyone here know how to replace it? I'm very sure that the actuator needs to be replaced. Would appreciate if someone could give a detailed step-by-step way to replace it. Thanks guys.

 

fairly simple other than the small space to work with. pull the door panel off and try greasing the actuator first.

I Have a Mazda MPv 2001,The Key less entry is not working so I have to lock each door everytime!Any one knows what i should do to fix this?
