I bought her used a couple of weeks ago, it's obvious from looking at it that it's sat outside unused for a while. There are a lot of small maintenance things, but she's been running well other than having to put in a new alternator. Today though, a new issue sprang up that's driving me nuts.

Whenever I accelerate, a loud vibrating starts--it sound like it's coming from somewhere within the drivers side dash. It gets louder and faster the faster I go, and slows down and stops when I stop. The gas and the brake don't seem to have any effect, it seems to be directly related to the speed. Any idea what it could be? My steering and break still seem to be functioning normally.

Check the brakes and wheel bearings. Also look if all the plastic parts in the wheel well and under the car are properly attached.
