turning the key...no gas is pumped...i pulled the gas line off, and turn the key....nothing....

how do i check the fuel pump? i took the passanger seat out, carpet is covering everything, and i dont want to keep ripping everything out if im looking in the wrong place.... ideas?

 

You will not get the fuel pump running by just turning the key to run position. Engine needs to be either cranking or actually running for the fuel pump to operate.

Do you have the 4 cyl or V6?

There is a fuel pump test connector up by the air cleaner. It is yellow in colorand will have two wires running to it. Shorting these two wires together with a paper clip and turning key to on should energize the fuel pump relay and get the pump running.
