Help! Problems pumping fuel
Hey guys, new to this forum. I have a problem which started a couple days ago.
When I try to fill up my gas tank, it seems that the fuel is flowing back and stopping the pump. Kind of like when your tank is full. I know the tank is not even near full so thats not the problem. I have also had this problem at multiple locations so its not the gas station. Also I'm not sure if this is related but I think the problem started when the weather went down to far below freezing.
Now I did some digging around forums and it seems that my fuel vent may be clogged or something along those lines. My question is, is this something I can fix myself or would I need to take it in to a mechanic? And if so, how much damage would this do to my pockets?
I apologise if this topic has already been discussed, I tried to search in the forums but I couldnt find anything relevant.
Cheers
Fred
