there are 2 screws on each side of the steering column, hidden by black plastic covers. on the left side, it is the rheostat, remove both covers, and you will see the screws. the left side one is a bit cranky, you have to disconnect it, and you will be puzzled at first. after the screws are out, i start by prying on the far right, where the glovebox starts. if you check ebay, you will see a few of these for sale, and you can then figger out what the entire part that you need to remove looks like. after you pry it, you will then have to disconnect the harness where it plugs into the amp and a couple other places. after that, the entire dash part comes out. when you look at the backside of the dash piece, you will see the screws that hold the unit in. very easy, after doing it, you will wonder why the dealer charges so much labor for this
