TCS OFF LIGHT STAY ON

RE: TCS OFF LIGHT STAY ON
Hey Ajax. Is there a CHECK ENGINE light that is on? and if so, what code does it give you? Personally, my TCS OFF light comes on on very cold mornings. However, if I turn it off and re-start, it doesn't come on. I know I'll have to get that checked out some day I'm sure.
I called the dealership and they said that it was almost certainly a vacuum hose problem. They want ~$275 to remove the manifold cover on my '01 S and locate the vacuum leak. If it is the vac leak like they say, you could use a garden hose to isolate where a hiss is coming from along all your vacuum lines. Cut a 2ft section from an old garden hose and put one end up to your ear, and run the other end slowly close along your vacuum lines until you hear a hiss where the vacuum line is leaking. or try downloading the vacuum diagram from this forum and disconnecting the hoses at different points to see where the loss of suction is.
I know BabyHuey is the man for this question, you might want to ask him if you can.
