Default Some weird electrical problem

Ok I have an 02 S, and recently I have had some weird I guess electrical issue. I was driving the car and all of a sudden all the electrical goes out and the car turns off. I opened the hood and jumped the car and it ran great for a week, then it did it to me again, I jumped the car with no success, but I started to wiggle the positive cable wire and the fuses in the engine compartment and the lights came on and I drove it for another week or so, now yesterday, nothing will keep it on, I have no electrical except when my door is open the light on the instrument panel comes on. I had the battery check at Orielly's and they said it was fine. Could it be the battery, I think it is old not sure on the date of it, or could there be a short, or maybe the alternator. I am really confused and really don't want to pay an arm and a leg before I exhaust everything myself. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Matt

Default RE: Some weird electrical problem

Matt! Check your ground wires, make sure they are tight. I believe there is one on the right side of the battery straight down and one on the #3 engine mount. Also I have seen a simular problem on other cars when the ignition switch is going bad. Just a sugestion.
