Default plugs wet with gas

have 2000 2.5 put valve cover gasket on now will not start plugs wet with gas fire to plugs checked wires whats up help think my injectors are spraying gas all the time thanks gary

Did you do both valve cover gaskets? The reason for my question is that if so, it meant you took off the intake manifold, too. Have you checked your connections for the fuel pressure regulator, and the connections to the fuel rails themselves?

I'm assuming you didn't remove the fuel rails and injectors from the intake manifold as that really isn't a required process (they can remain connected to the intake manifold when you take it off and reinstall it).

Hopefully, from the answers you provide, it might give some more details about your issue and what is being experienced.
