Has anyone experienced a p0430 catalytic efficiency threshod bank 2 code? All indication leads to have catalytic converter on rear exhaust manifold replaced.......If anyone can offer another soulution please help.....

 

hi, i have the same code P0430, in a mazda tribute 2001 V6 4WD, with a horrible fuel consumption, around 20mpg city and 18 highway, can be the frontmanifold catalyc converter or th upstream O2 ???someone can help plz,

 

lgibbons1-i am guessing you have a 2.5. and if it is bank 2, that would be the one closest to the radiator. the rear bank is known as the right bank, in the us it would be referred to as bank 1. the japanese follow the germans, bank 1 is always the right side, since the cars originally are rhd.
