hey guys this is my first post i just got a 96 milly s . i have been reading the posts on here for days and i want to say thank you ! it has been most helpful. my problems are for one DEFINATELY need valve cover gaskets its slinging oil like a cut hog on the rear bank ... i can repair but i dont have a garage. so i neeed a mechanic on the gulf coast of fl that is familiar with this car. its runs and drives perfect other than no start off power i mean almost nothing i think i can push it faster lol. but when it gets going it is comparable to a normal ride. engine light is on and i plan to get the code pulled. i figure i will have about 100 codes some freak that owned it before has been under the hood making a huge mess everything is all jacked up. but she runs smooth as a new lexus. so that leaves me confused . any help is appreciated.

 

I had a similar problem about 1 yr ago. I ended up replacing the distributor and 2 spark plugs were basically destroyed. only mine's not the s model
