Thanks for the part#'s.
Sorry I'm new to posting and was unsure if it was up.
Thanks again.
P.P.S. With engine off they should read open or Hi-Impedance? correct?

no, impedance should be less than 30, but not below 20. around 26 for new. if 0, then no good. if high, like 50-60, they are dying. if really hi, like 90, they are dead. usually the vacuum solenoid goes. i get most of my parts from tasca mazda in rhode island, they used to stock the vacuum solenoid, and they have the best prices on the web.

Is the part number for the ABV and Vent for 2000M S the same as the 2001M S? I too need both badly. Looking for a distributor who will ship overseas. Stationed in Germany. Heinz

yup. same part numbers for all years of the mc motor. i would think any online dealer would ship overseas. i use tasca mazda a lot, they are in rhode island. last time i got the solenoids, tasca had the vacuum in stock, i air'd it, and it solved my problem.

I was just quoted $79.95 for both above. Is that reasonable? Heinz
