But everytime I'm first at the light, when I drive off, I'll look in my rear view mirror and the person behind me is always milesss behind? Also, I had the pleasure of intimidating a decked out candy apple red Corvette with the dotted brake lights yesterday with my newly installed blue fog lights. You can tell the driver was in the army because they always add rims, tints, and all that other racer car-y type of stuff to their cars. The guy was literally the last of all the cars and I was all the way down the street but soon as I got up to his car, he revs the engine, turns on his fogsand starts to speed up. He continued this everytime I got close to his car. I was flattered to say the least. 1995 Millenia VS 2000+ Corvette....hmmmm

The moral of the story is that us Mazda Millenia drivers rule. The end.[8D]

 

I've got to admit that I have a finer sense of motoring while I'm behind the wheel of my '98. And although newer cars are out there, Millenias just have that extra 'something' that makes them special and noticeable.

soo true. Everytime I go somewhere, especially at nite, cars rev their motors and turn on their fogs like they want to get dusted. Just the other day I was on the highway and a guy in a corvette again tried to pick up speed, but that day I was in my showing off mood, so i always kept minutes ahead of him everytime he tried to catch up. He politely cried his way home. I politely lmao.

when are these other drivers gonna realize that us Mazda Millenia drivers rule the world, and their ratty little hondas and corvettes just dont compare?

 

Yes, I have shared a similar experience... En route to work, this brand new, shiny red mustang pulls up next to me, blingin' rims and all... lol. Anyway we come to a red light and he starts rapping out his pipes, and when the light turns green, I stomp it... But I dont think he was expecting it because it took him awhile to catch back up to me. Eventually, he blew my doors, going about 100 down the street, but I couldnt help but feel a sense of pride in my Mil... '99 Millenia Supercharged v. '07 Mustang GT... can't do anything but smile. Hah!

and you know what's weird, i hope im not a sellout for saying this, but Mustangs are like my favorite cars, I kinda stumbled upon the Millenia, and then ended up loving them! Everyone swears my 1995 is a 2000, and when I first saw it I thought the same thing too, which is why I bought it! Like the interior is just so advanced for a '95'? And then it makes this noise, I call "luxury noise" that makes me feel so much more important than people, and then it creates this "not so important"(made of molten rocks, and millenia speed dust)dust cloud for the stupid drivers behind me, and their windows are usually open so of course when i look in my rear view mirror, not only are they trailing miles behind me, but they are coughing up their intestines.

It makes me feel warm inside. And to you, represent for us Millenia drivers!

PS- Millenias are like the aliens of the Mazda world; everyone wants the chance to see one, but they are just not important enough to catch the spectacle. haha, that should offend the 626's

 

Hmm... do they all have this "luxury noise?" I wonder what that could possibly sound like... haha Mine makes a "prepare to get dusted" noise, more commonly referred to as the whining of the supercharger at about 4 and 5K rpms. Love it!

And I laugh at the 626ers... they are the ugly stepsister to the Millenias. Just nothing they can do about it cuz we effing rock. [8D]

my grandmother owns one of those god forbidden cars, and I totally got a rash from driving it. And the rash STILL looked better than the car itself. There is like a serious Mazda 626 epidemic. They are slowly becoming the modern dodge neons of America. In other words, they are the flies of the Mazda family, EVERYWHERE for no apparent reason. BUT, BUT, BUT, we have to be nice to our ugly cousins. Just drive in neutral and throw like bar-b-q sauce on your leather seats so they wont feel bad for their polyester seats that stick to your a** went its hot. Ugly cars need some good lovin too! lol

A rash?? Ech sounds like nasty business. And wit a Mil, I dunno why u would wanna be toting around in a 626. It's like driving a paddle boat when you're used to a yacht... The Millenia is JUST THAT DAMN GOOD... haha and thats what old folks are for... to give lovin to those ugly cars of the world...

 

just kidding about the rash, but if denim jeans could get a rash, they totally would have. NOW, this is before I became abnormally cool, and I had to be chauffered around in my grandma's ghetto mobile. Im not saying that ALL 626's are nasty, annoying, and inferior, Im just saying that my grandmother's and most of them are. Before I got my cool Millenia, I used to use it to go to school...soooo much fun, especially when the paint is all chipped and it cuts off in the street. Her tire has even gone flat while i was driving that crap, and guess who flashes me down? MY TEACHER!..and she wasnt one of those old, non-judgementalteachers, she was the "hot, tall blonde who graduated college 3 years earlier and already works at a university at 25 years old teacher"...and then I had her class that day!(sigh)

I've also noticed that these cars in particular, their paint chips easily. Everytime I see one, the paint is all chipped?...dunno, all I know is I love my Millenia.

 

My 02 Milly is always leading the pack. Seems everyone is jealous of my6 wheel drive conversion, as my Milly sits atop the tow truck =).
