Instrument Cluster Not Working…
Have a strange problem. The gauges on my 2002 Milly (105K miles) suddenly stopped working. After a short inspection for loose wires, I discovered that the instrument cluster will ‘come to life’ if I disconnect the ‘large’ wire plug behind the carpet on the driver’s side center console then reconnect it. This causes the air conditioning to ‘reset’ (similar to disconnecting the battery). The cluster will work fine until I remove the key from the ignition for a few minutes, and then turn it on again…at which time it is dead again.
Any ideas?
