hold light

Default hold light

on the way home as I was on the off ramp slowing down, the hold light started blinking and it shifted down very hard. and I didn't have my hand on the shifter so I didn't accidentally push the button. anyone had this problem before? it's a base 2.5 with just over 162k miles

samething is happening with me my millenia limited edition is doing the samething i dont know whats wrong. its still fast but when i go fast it loose acceleration for 1 to 2 seconds then takes off like a booster. I NEED HELP

Default HOLD on

my hold light started flashing too it came and went.then was onn all the time the car was in a limp mode.the fluid apeared to be fine.i was told it was the speed senser,sift soleniod,trany.when i checked the fluid level it was full. i added hlf a quart hold light went off and i was back on the rd again. check your fluid first

check your fluid!! add hlf a quart see what happens
