I was driving my car last night and at about 2500 RPMs got this strange whining noise from my engine, which only happened when i was accelerating. I was thinking it could be from the 87 octane gas that i put in, but i wasn't sure. If anyone knows what could be the problem or no problem, let me know. THanks in advance

Check your steering fluid!!! Whining noise =low steering fluid everytime. Top her up, drive around for 10min and like magic the noise goes away!!!

if you have an s model thats normal because your car is supercharged if not it would probably have to do with your belts idont think it would bepower steeringthatusualy only whineswhen u turn the steering wheel even at idol
