Best vendors
From personal experience, who is the best source for parts, taking price and quality into account.I want toget atiming belt kit (w/all idlers and tensioner),water pump, cam seals, valve cover gskt.and intake gskt.
Need to address the cam friction gear spring.Beings I'll be in there, and don't know the service history of the car,I'll have piece of mind knowing all is good/won't have problems later.
All good sources, thankyou.I'm seeingthat (if I'm correct) the timing belt tensioner, and the timing belt lever are 2 different parts.Am also seeing that some valve cover gaskets come with grommets, some don't,as well as some vendors sell the v/c gaskets individualy;frnt/r,left/rt,etc.http://www.moonlightmechanic.com/sto...iming+Belt+Kit
Looks like a very good deal,as it comes w/all that I'm wanting to replace.BUT;the above kit states it comes w/tensioner,and from looking at the photograph,it looks like it has the tensioner lever, not the actual tensioner too,as seen here..........

which is another 160$...So it almost looks like I'm going to be sourceing the parts between "moonlight",autozone (complete v/c gaskets),and who ever else has a good deal .......cha-ching.

You can save yourself some money by getting the belt and waterpump from Autozone, but everything else you will have to get from a dealer. I have purchased alot of parts from onlinemazdaparts.com and have received a lot of helpful information and good service!
I just got done replacing all that and found it at Autozone and Advanced Auto. The Water pump and timing belt replacement are a beast to replace though so plan on it taking a while. I have a 98 S and it took my brother and I 3 days of late nights to get it done. Good luck
