Default starting problems

have been unable to start my car. on turning over it sounds as if the starter motor is engaged all ready. have tried rocking the car in gear to disengage but with no joy. Have started to remove the starter motor but it is not the easiest thing to do . Any one any advice to make it easier or if they have had a problem with the starter motor

Default RE: starting problems

It could possibly be your spark plugs and/or spark plug wires. The current is not strong enough to spark the fuel. Your fuel pump might be out. Your fuel lines might be clogged. You possibly might need to change your timing chain.

Thanks...
Fuel, spark and timing belt are all fine. got to try and boost the battery to have another go to rule that out but definately sounds like the starter motor
