Sorry have to differ on the thought that the red chipping is a myth. I have had a few colors and it’s the only one that did this. Yes, I know my few cars are not a scientific study but if you search the Internet for Mazda and red and chips, you’ll find many many references. Not so for silver, white etc. After driving the red one for a little over a year, it became a car I didn’t want to own because I take particular care of all of them and want them to look good.

Also you obviously don’t understand that RED any vehicle gets more forum attention then any other color. Lol
As I stated this was a debunked MYTH a long time ago…. Lol
We have a Soul Red 2021 Mazda CX-30. I don't honestly believe that there is anything 'different' about that color than every other shade offered by them. I don't see how it will 'chip' any worse than white, silver, black or blue. What appears to make it seem so is that it 'shows' chips more easily. It's not unlike how a black car will look much dirtier than a white or silver car after going a week without being washed.
Black shows dirt, fingerprints, dust and pollen worse than other colors because it seems to magnify any imperfection. On the other hand, it's hard to beat a shiny black car right after it's been washed and waxed. I used to have two black Mustang GT coupes and my wife had a black Audi TT. They looked great when freshly washed, but sitting outside without a garage meant that the luster was short-lived. They pretty much needed to be washed at least twice a week or they looked crappy.
People stop participating at this forum because you step on everyone elses posts. You should consider giving it a rest and allow others to share their opinions and experiences without your criticism.
But lest consider that your eighty-six ( great number what the meaning is
) and my 8300+ responses and years participatingMine is not an opinion but you did get the second part correct my experience my education and career for 40 + years in the automotive industry in various capacities sort of makes me a more credible responder on this forum.
The problem as I see it members like yourself would rather read only information and comments that align with you.
Here read it again ....
