Can someone pls help me or tell me where to find a lower door Bose speaker it’s the 8 inch round one, not oval. I have a 2011 miata and I can’t find it anywhere I’ve looked online for weeks and even went to junk yards and everything. I don’t want to replace every speaker because I have no idea how to do the wiring. Plus there’s something with the ohms of the Bose speakers, won’t it blow out if I put a different brand??? Like I said pls help

My 1999 speakers are shot. Would these fit in this car?

 

Only if they are the 8 inch Bose woofer speakers. They are low profile and a cinch to install.

What I have found is that since my 1999 Miata came with Bose speakers as OEM, they are 1 ohm and most replacment speakers are 4 ohm. I understand that if I replace the OEM Bose speakers, with 4 ohm speakers, I will lose maybe 1/2 of the volume. Is this what you experience?

 

Jeff, I went to the Rockville site and checked out the W8T4-S2 speaker. They seem to call it a "subwoofer". Is this the same as the OEM Bose speaker, do I have a subwoofer?
