Default Camshaft Position Sensor

Hello:
Noob asking a question here.

I have a miata and I got that camshaft sensor no signal OBD II code.

However, I just bought this car and the dealers messed with the cam sensor plug before.

I am wondering if the conenction is ok or not.

Anyone know if the engine can still run constantly without the sensor? or would it stall?

Thanks

Default RE: Camshaft Position Sensor

the car should still run with the sensor unplugged but i don't think that it will rev up with this sensor unplugged.
