Hi everyone, I am an owner of S2000 living in Sacramento California. just few days ago my hardtop was stolen. I found the guy who posted his phone number on the criaglist selling my hardtop, now the ad has been removed. But we, the S2K community has found out the person also have stolen a Miata's hardtop, and it was posted on Jan 2nd or Jan 3rd, then the ad was deleted recently as well. If you lost your hardtop, and would like to possible recover your hardtop. I have been dealing with the police the last 48 hours trying to figure out these group of people who's going around the neighbor taking people's hardtop. I need you also come meet me at the Sacramento police department as soon as possible. It would be great if you can come and help to strengthen the case for the police to go out and stop these guys tearing people's car up.

If you guys read this thread and use bing to search the same phone number. it will show a same phone number popped up.

Explanation: stealing hardtops for resale? Then posting it on-line? That particular item is not in high demand and the people that would respond to such an ad is a person who got their's stolen!
I could understand stealing a good set of wheels, but a hardtop?
