Air Bag Control Module Diagnostic Help
On my '91 miata, the air bag light shows a code '10' which I know is the fuse inside the control module (right?). I replaced the module with a used part about 4 years ago, after the same code was present, and the system has been fine until the same code came back recently.
So my question is, does anyone have access to an online '91 repair manual that will help me diagnose the real problem (if there is one) before I replace the module again? I read here that I should check the resistance(i think?) between the sensor plugs, with the battery disconnected and the air bag and air bag control module also unplugged, to make sure there is not a short in the wiring that is causing my problem in the first place. The repair manual I have just says to take the car to the dealer.
Also, is this the least expensive place to find the module? And is this the correct part? (called a diagnostic unit) http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...layCatalogid=0
Thanks!
