2007 MX-5 perimeter alarm

2007 MX-5 perimeter alarm
Just bought a 2007 MX-5 and love it! Exceeds my expectations in all but one area. Wish it had the acceleration of my GL1800 Goldwing, then it would be perfect. But now to my question.
I see there is a perimeter alarm available from the factory. As I have keyless axcess, it is supposed to work with my transmitter. Does anyone know if this alram is plug and play? If so, where does it mount/locate. Seems to me it would just plug into the harness somewhere. If anyone has done this, just how difficult is the install?

Found install instructions on one of the suppliers websites. Not really a plug and play, but not too difficult either, atleast not in my mind. I'll get one and do it.

Glad to see you've sorted it out. Good choice on the Miata, by the way.
And it's tough beating a crotch-rocket in acceleration, but you and I both know the Miata is no slouch.
