I have had my brand new MX-5 for about a month now and i didn't really notice at first but when the weather got really hot (and it does get hot here in Texas) the air conditioning is not as cold as it should be. It seems to work okay in the mornings and nights when the temperature is cooler but during mid-day when the sun is shining real bright I can barely feel any cold air coming out. Putting it on re-circulate seems to alleviate the problem. Are any of you fellow 2006 MX-5 owners experiencing this same problem? I'm thinking of taking it into the dealership to get it checked out for any leaks (it's ridiculous even to think about this on a car with less than 1000 miles on it!!!!). Other than that the car is GREAT!!!

 

yeah especially since the drivers cockpit is so small. It should get cold fast! There is no backseat. so...
