Default Linking the memory seat to a smart key

Hi- I have just purchased a 2011 GT CX 9, and I am trying to figure out how to link a seat memory position to a given key fob for the advanced keyless system. I can't find it in the owner's manual, but I have seen passing comments that it is possible here and in other forums.

Anyone successful with this???

Thanks,

Jason S.

Nice info! But I still wonder why on a car advertised as having 3 driver memory seats they give you two remotes when you buy it....

Does anyone know how to disable this feature? We hang up our key fobs and they don't have anything other than the remote start buttons on them, so we don't know which is which. If I grab my wife's key fob, then every time I unlock the car, it moves it to her seat position. Our son also has his permit, and he doesn't have his own key because it only has two, so every time he unlocks the car, then his seating position and mirror position changes.

Easy fix is buy a third remote for your son, then mark or label each remote so you know whose is whose.
