I just bought a 2008 CX-9 GT in copper-red. It is a stunning looking vehicle and I want to protect the doors from dents and dings from idiots who slam open their doors in parking lots. My dealer said thatdoor bumper guards are not a Mazda accessory.

Does anyone knowof an after-market accessory supplier of door guards for Mazda CX-9?

I got a set of these and love them. I even had the dealer install them too as a throw-in for something else. I have noticed that the leading edge is starting to peel off. I'll have it checked. Maybe they can put more adhesive on.

 

Good idea to have them, but I've never liked the looks of them at all. They ruin the cleanliness of the CX9's lines. I tend to park out in the boonies anyway, so I suppose I'll just have to hope to avoid the door dings that way.
