Dipstick broke

🤪 that’s crazy but may work. I might have to try next time we get a customer with a broken dipstick. You know I didn’t say earlier but those plastic dipsticks are really hard the break in the first place.

True......one thing more that I've thought of.......before you heat the wire up, take a pair of side cutters and slightly "crimp" the end that you will heat up, to add some serrations to the wire very close to the end of it......so when the wire melts into the plastic, it will add some more "holding power" between the plastic and the wire when you go to pull the dipstick out of its tube.
