CX-9 2008 Wind noise
I hadn't noticed when I test drove my CX-9 but I have a lot of highway miles on it now and the noise is deafening. Listening to music is out of the question unless I turn the volume up a LOT. Then, that is quite noticeable when I stop to fill up or get food. When I return to the car and start it, it's obvious how high the volume was.
Anybody have trouble with wind noise?

I must say that our 2011 CX-9 is one of the most quiet cars we have ever owned - in the same league as our Mercedes S-class(!), and the amount of wind noise is very low... Our car does not have the roof rails though, does your have that? I assume that all windows and the sun roof are closed completely ;-)
have someone else drive and try to listen and determine from where it is generated, around the door frames, etc.

Probably the glass run, I just replaced mine over the weekend. You can find the part on ebay. The cheapest I found was here:
Mazda TD1159605D Genuine Run Channel | eBay
You can see if there are DIY instructions on this forum. Or you can just google glass run replacement for CX-9 and that should give you some good tips for the replacement. It took me about and hour and I was taking my time since I didnt want to damage anything.
