I really miss an option to Mirror our smartphone into the big 8 inch screen. Will be nice to show the Waze and other apps in the Mazda Connect system. I hope they added this in a firmware update option.
The mirror cannot be adjusted by using the memory buttons but the seat possition and HUD settings can be adjusted by the memory buttons or keys, according to the manual.
The back camera screen looks amazing. My wife have the new Rogue with perimeter view and the Mazda video quality, color and view is 200% better! I miss the lines where we can check where the SUV goes.

Just curious, what kind of AC devices you want to connect to the SUV?. I believe the AC 12volt ports available and the 4 x 2.0 amps USB connections are good enough.

Note: I have GT with HUD and see the GPS arrows but no names on the HUD. Will double check.
This would be AWESOME.

Android Mirror to Mazdaconnect it's possible with some Android OS versions and 56.x versions of Mazdaconnect. Current CX9 have 58.x version.

There is a couple of ways to mirror Smartphones to Mazda screen (search in youtube "mirror smartphone in mazda" or similar and you will get tons of videos.

But I don't want to "hack" my firmware or make modifications. I really hope Mazda just fire out a firmware update on 2015 to mirror the phone.

Just to clarify, there are no mods available yet for the current 58.x version, correct? Versions have to match?

I'd consider taking a chance on a mod if I thought it would work and would fix some of the ****les I have with the current system.

I test drove a Soul Red GT this last week and liked it very much. I have a 14 Mazda 6 GT that has been fantastic (I'll be keeping it, not trading).

1. I've seen a post here that the outside mirrors are not set to the seat memory?
2. The drivers seat is 8-way power, where is the seat bottom tilt?

According to the car comparison page of Mazda's own web site, this car does have "Memory Adjust Exterior Mirror". Does the car have outside mirror adjust with memory settings or not? I know my 6 does not and always thought this a significant omission.

If the driver seat does not actually have power seat bottom tilt, what are the actual 8-way adjustments. My wife is only 5.0' and mentioned that she felt like she was "sliding forward".

Too bad the Signature does not come in Soul Red, that's the one I'd get. As it is, I will only consider the Soul Red GT with Sand interior. My 6 is white with Sand interior and prefer it to black interior. Would also "love" ventilated seats, it gets ridiculously HOT here in Phoenix, Az. We are selling back our 2016 Hyundai Tucson Limited due to the failure of the dual clutch transmission. Too bad because it DID have cooled front seats, memory outside mirrors, proper 8-way power driver seat and a few other things this car does not have and it was about 10 grand less. This car rides and drives better (tho larger) but I expect that at this price point.

Any info on the above points would be helpful,

Thx

The new CX9 2016 have 6-way power adjusting plus electric lumbar support. Some clients claim there is false advertising by Mazda because they are callling this 8-way power adjust.

The memory buttons and keys can be used to memorize seat and HUD settings. Mirror info are not saved in memory.

We will expect from this price range to memorize seat, mirror, HUD and even Favorites like GPS locations, FM stations, etc.

But this SUV its' really good. The audio, performance, MPG, exterior design, interior materials, etc is top notch.

I have the Red Soul GT too.

I also chose the GT trim due to desire for sand interior.

White GT AWD

Just got my 16 cx 9 signature Monday, very happy so far. Everyone says how quiet, I have to disagree, my 15 Grand Cherokee was considerably quieter, road noise and engine noise. The deal:
Pushed on my GC trade (60 mth loan...0 down...3.9%)
Sticker...45200
Paid....42500....(.9%....60 mth)

Congratulations on your new Mazda Cx9! it's a great SUV!

Do you get Sport, GL, T, GT or Signature?

Color? Photos?

Yes, is extremely quiet!!! Check the doors when you open it, double isolation!!!

If the interior is not extremely quieter, return to your dealer and check it with them because it's even dangerous (with radio at min volumen you don't even hear police sirens!)
