Airbag, Seat position sensor, CX-9
Hello, I am looking for a Driver side, Steering wheel, Airbag replacement for a deployed airbag on a 2010 CX-9 GT.
air bags available are for seat position sensor and without seat position sensor.
How can I verify if I have "Seat position sensor" or not for my model? I called up the mazda parts people and he said all models have seat position sensors. I dont believe he is right because I cannot see any on their seat assembly diagrams.

The airbag is pretty expensive > $500, need to know which airbag to choose on the first shot. any help will be appreciated.

ok, I got this resolved, My airbag needs the seat position sensor.
you can call the mazda parts store, and ask for the part. They will do a VIN check with the last 8 digits of your ViN#.
Hope this helps.....
