2017 Cracked Infotainment Panel Warranty Coverage?
Hi all, this past winter, on the most frigid day, I went to car to discover the edges of the infotainment system had cracked. I looked the problem up and it seems it's a recurring issue. Here's link to what I found. I contacted Mazda and got this email:
I can confirm that your vehicle is still within the warranty parameters for concerns on the display (Infotainment) screen. However, I cannot make warranty determinations virtually so the concern will need to be inspected by your local Mazda dealer to confirm this is a warranty-related repair. If so, there will be no cost to you for the inspection or repairs.
Any thoughts on what to expect from the dealer? TIA
