I bought CX-9 GT AWD last week for $36,388 ($40,200 OTD).

 

wow, that's a good price. I couldn't get the dealers to go any lower and I had several working against each other. I guess my price wasn't very good. 😩

 

Was that after trade-in or down payment?

Hard to believe anyone got $7000 off MSRP. These cars are still in short supply and dealers are not discounting much.

 

Just bought a 2016 CX-9 GT AWD (white) for $39k (MSRP $43,070) flat, took couple days of talking to few dealerships but combined with 0% apr financing; we decided it was a good time to move forward with the purchase.

So far, love the car and very happy with it.

Also, they were offering the pre-paid maintenance (5years/60k miles) for $2495 and I was able to get it for $1500 flat. Worth mentioning that with Costco membership discounted price was offered at ~$1760.

 

Do you know if they will be using synthetic or conventional oil for pre paid maintenance? Do you know what's included in prepaid maintenance?

 

Synthetic. I don't have the actual brochure with me, but it is whatever is needed for the scheduled maintenances, plus two rear brake pads are replaced the first time they need replacement. Something similar to https://www.mazdausa.com/siteassets/...e-brochure.pdf

My dealer told me that it will be synthetic oil change. Also, I purchased 5-year 75K mile prepaid maintenance for $997 in Bay Area.

 

Wow. Even better price than cx-9.

Planning to purchase cx9 soon. Is it worth purchasing extended warranty? How much was the extended warranty (year,mileage and deductible)? This would be my first Mazda. I currently have Subaru and bought extended warranty. I broke even after some repairs.
