Default 2015 Spark Plugs, Brake pads Repalcement

Just had my 2015 CX-9 Grand Touring in for service at the local Mazda dealer. After repairing the blower motor and and clogged evaporator they said spark plugs should be changed for $600. and brake pads were 4MM and should be replace soon.

Looking for some cost estimates and where you may have gotten these things serviced besides MAZDA. I used to do all this kind of stuff myself but arthritis and age have caught up to me.

Thanks for your info folks!

You would really need to find this out for yourself/
You first need to see what in your state and city is the average hourly shop rates.
Then you would need to contact local parts retailers and get the estimate of the parts.

EVERY state and city have different labor hour rates as well retail parts prices.

So I looked at what we would charge..... just for fun and this can't really be compared unless you did live in the same region. The labor time is based on ALLData recommended times.

New name brand ceramic pads NAPA supplied because they are around the block lol (please don't ask I can advertise)and machining (surfacing) the disc/rotors est. 325 We do not for safety reason only replace disc pads on any vehcle unless new disc/rotors or they are machined/surface. This should be a common practice and if anything a safety procedure. We also do a courtesy bedding of the new pads this insures they won't make noises.
Spar plugs and RnR plugs only (no coil boots or springs recommend) est.145
Our shop rate is competitive for this area which is Northern California very close to the states capitol @ 125 per hour
