I have 2014 CX-9 Grand Touring. Within the past year we have had a steering wheel shaking issue. It starts shaking at about 40 mph. Shakes for 5-6 seconds and then goes smooth for 5-6 seconds then back to shaking and so on. It gets worse the faster you go. We had new tires put on and that did not fix it. Had them rebalanced with no luck. We have also put on new front end caliper, brakes and aliment. Any suggest would be appreciated.

 

It's possible this shaking is not related to wheels, suspension nor steering. It could be the famous cx-9's torque converter shudder. Add "Lubeguard shudder fixx" to the ATF and check if it will be resolved. It worked for me and I hope it will for you.
