Default 2014 cx 9 hatch cargo light wiring

Does anyone have access to the wiring diagram for the hatch?
I am trying to locate the switch that turns on the hatch mounted cargo light. I don't see or can't find any kind of plunger switch.
Is it in the latch? I have searched google and it was pretty useless.
Thanks

The trigger / switch is built into the door latch assembly.

What is the problem?

What diagnosis have you carried out?

Cargo/hatch light will not come on in the "door" position. Known good bulb. Removed light and tested separately and it works. I even bought a new light (before I tested the old unit) and its dosent work. I'm not getting power so I figure trigger switch is bad/gummed up.

I assume the switch has 3 positions, ON OFF & DOOR ?

What happens when set to ON?

The switch should have 12v all the time, and will have a switched earth via the BCM for ON, or via the door position switch in the tailgate.

I recently put in an LED strip back there on my 2009. My right up may have some useful info....

And attached is the wiring schematic.
