Default Dipstick

My experienced, old school, DIYER mentality committed, learned approach is augmented with maintaining continuously updated subscriptions to the exact same dealer level software for all of the major automaker brands sold in this country and remaining upwardly proficient as a mobile diagnostician across the board which comes in super handy when evaluating problem child rust free Florida vehicles for purchase and cost-effective rehabilitation.

The only person that ever used your use of the English language like yours was an ASE that simply proof read others automotive articles for publication. I know because over the decades have paid him close to 10 grand rewriting and editing many of mine. He was also in your vintage , and a retired Powertrain Engineer for Chrysler Corp.

Oh I see so you learned it and not trained or educated in any specific specialty? If your were at least an ASE ..... but as you did not mention it and IMHO self taught it explains some of your responses.
Ok then maybe its time you read this thread so I am not posting my credentials and experience...

Please do a search for the YouTube video entitled

Transmission Fluid Specifications: Can you trust the Labels?

This is a set aside the time, and commit to, one's continuing education investment !

I am curious do you have or ever had any oil analysis performed for crankcase or an automatic transmission?

This is what I successfully use in my 2018 Mazda 3 2.5 Transmission.
I also recommend it to forum members as well often use it in our customers transmissions as well .

Alway check for the proper CASTROL oil to use for your specific transmission

As an example for the benefit of CX-9 and CX-7 DIYERS:
Earlier this year I purchased a problem child 2011 CX-9 Grand Touring in spectacular original condition for $ 2,695.00 everything out the door because
the VOLVO dealership in Florida had finally given up on it after having taking an embarrassing bath after accepting it as a high value trade-in for a new Volvo crossover.
Symptom: Transmission shifting hard shock-jerk-slam. I test drove it to confirm the symptoms after running the codes via a OBD2 bluetooth adapter.connected to my phone's ForScan Lite app.
Shelled out the money and loaded it onto my car dolly already attached to my Expedition..
Of course, I was well aware from previous experience that this drivability issue simply stemmed from an out of date TCM (Transmission Control Module) programming issue per its TSB (Technical Service Bulletin), so after selecting an exact TCM from my OEM used parts inventory, I cleared the DTCs and within 2 hours completed the TCM swap out.
Outcome: Silky smooth shifting and overdrive engagement/disengagement. No brag, just fact. I didn't stop there as I immediately performed the first of 3x ATF fast and easy drain/fill procedures to rid the transmission of as much worn and dirty apparently original fluid in the least amount of time.

.

Um ok ... and you want to swap service stories all day long LOL Remember I see no less then 5+ customers a day and at least 30 +plus calls.
Today Iam off and having fun with my own personal projects and the forums (plural)

Not sure what a single example of ...and I will say a great deal has to do with this treads subject? But hey we are slowly drifting off into other subject material anyway?
I do find it entertaining to read that you erase a DTC.... LOL Um we call that clearly. And then you check the pending file alone with the monitors? Or maybe you just didn't mention that? That you use a blue tooth that in the professional industry they are known for problematic ECU/PCM TCM etc. readings? NOTHING is better then connecting directly to the OBDII or CANbus diagnostic connector and using a professional grade Diagnostic equipment. For me it is Snap-On Solus.
That you forgot the ECU counter relating to your erasing the DTC? That you did not do a Pass-through with the most current ECU or last update?

But at least your outcome was positive ! Thumbs up!

Inventory..... is that meaning were your service shop is or is this more word usage and what it translates to is your personal garage at home? LOL

If it is your garage I may have to use that verbage in the future what I talk about what I have in my own personal garage. LOL

Your posted Transmax full synthetic multi vehicle fluid is in use in my 1995 BMW 540i ZF transmission per the over the phone recommendation by the US chief of engineering for ZF transmissions. RE: Specification LA 2634,

For in-depth work, I of course use the direct hardwired OBD2 adapter connected to my blindingly obscenely fast Dell i7 notebook.
