Default 2008 CX9 sputtering

Hi,

Have a 2008 CX9 and has started sputtering/lose power when accelerating. Poured a bottle of Sea Foam injector cleaner into the gas tank and it stopped the sputtering first 50 miles! Sputtering has come back, not as often prior to Sea Foam. Fuel Filter? TiA

It could be water in the gas, especially this time of year. The fuel filter will trap some of that. Change the fuel filter and add HEET (or ISO-HEET) according to label directions. Get your future tanks of gas from a different gas station.

Get it scanned for fault codes & misfire count.
