12VDC to blower, still not turning
Hey all, I've searched and searched and can't seem to find my specific issue. Apologies if someone else has posted the same.
2010 Mazda CX-9, front A/C drain clogged. Cleared drain, blower stopped working. Replaced blower, nothing. Checked voltage @ blower harness w/ selector on Lo and Hi- 12VDC.
When I plug the harness into the new blower while the selector is set ON, the blower spins for half a second when I first plug it in, then stops. It does this every time.
I have checked the fuse marked "A/C" next to the blower, and I have swapped the rear & front blower relays- same result, rear blows/front doesn't.
I will be picking up two of those relays I have seen mentioned tomorrow and installing them Part # L1Y1-67-730, then post here tomorrow with my results. If the relays don't work and nobody has any other suggestions, I'll swap the new blower out for another just to be certain.
After driving half-way across the country w/ all the windows open, and as I drive my car for my living, I'm pretty desperate. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Update: So, after 7 parts shops and 2 days, turns out it was the front fan resistor (part #: L20661B15A) in addition to the blower motor. After I took out the resistor module, I opened up the housing and found water damage inside. All told, 5 screws and $220 and I have A/C again.
Turns out if you let water slosh around in there long enough, it'll get into things you don't want it to. If anyone would like pictures before I button it back up tomorrow, please let me know.

Same issue here Mazda CX-9 2009: When I plug the harness into the new blower while the selector is set ON, the blower spins for half a second when I first plug it in, then stops.
It turned out to be the resister. Probably burn out, because I found the blower stuck when disassemble it.
I replaced the resistor (part # - Denso 077800-1050) with original one (second hand) from Infinity Q70. Alway available in some Ford Edge. Hopefully that helps someone looking for it.
