Our Mazda service center is the one who suggested to call Mazda because they have more influence. I'm only passing along the advice I was given.

As far as the mom and dad comparison, it is a bit inaccurate. Mom and dad are normally considered equals. In this case, Mazda designed and manufactured the car, the dealer just sells and repairs them.

The responses here are a bit strong? we?re stressed, new, expensive car owners WITH THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER GOING CRAZY! this isn?t a map light not working?.
my service center took my car today, gave me a loaner & told me to expect a minimum of 2 weeks. They?re going to help document & move the is up the chain at Mazda so that if they can?t fix it, which they expect they can?t, that I can have more documentation to move on to next steps, including possibly figuring out the process to get me into a new car. & from my description (only) like the others here have done, my service techs feel very strongly that it is the same issue as the other person who?s just experienced this here in Raleigh.
I hope that we can all find a good fix. But I think the best course of action is documentation at your service center!!

Your Mazda is to new and there are no current Bulletins the suggest a model specie issue?... Yet
Forums because of repeated information among like platform of a vehicle it is not conclusive to count numbers of complaints or issues of any kind .

I called my dealership and they want me to take in tomorrow so will share what they say when have that info. I?m not a car person and thought it was user error until reading others having similar experience, so really appreciate people sharing cause I probably wouldn?t have taken it in otherwise!

it seems almost logical that if you have any feeling or suspect a problem to seek out a service shop.
I read , find and personally know from asking customers coming into the service shop so often most never take the time to read their owners manual when they buy a new vehicle so why would some be surprised that a group support about an issue be needed?

Well, it wasn't the instrument cluster as they thought it was. Problem came back within an hour of getting the car back so back to the service department :-(

same thing happened to me. On my next visit they gave me a loaner immediately. Still in the loaner, been 2 weeks!

Mine has been at the dealer since last week and they are waiting to hear back from Mazda Reps. They told me another one came in around same time with same issue so they sent some info to Mazda for them to look at.

I am extremely disappointed in Mazda right now.
they held my car for 3 weeks (16 business days out of service) & in that time put SIX MILES on my car & returned the car “unable to recreate issue” & directed me to where I can read about the istop system!!! I am so annoyed.
SIX MILES????? In THREE WEEKS?? 🤯
I left the dealership & the issue happened in 4 miles.
I was assigned a case number & a case manager. The case manager promised to reach out to me last week with her email address so that I can send her my record log of issues. I spoke to her a second time & she promised to email again. Still no email!
so disappointed.
