P2009 and P0012 codes that is giving me fits.
Reaching out to see if anyone has dealt with this before.
just installed a commercially remand engine in a 2011 CX-7 grand touring. It’s not my car so I’m unfamiliar with its history. Doing my sister a solid.
I’ve gotten the thing installed and it runs great. I’ve put 100 miles on the car and it kept hitting those two codes.
started digging into it and none of the normal fixes for the P2009 were it.
it’s wiring from what I’m gathering. I’m getting about 75 ohms when checking from the “swirl valve solenoid terminal B and the chassis ground. Book says I have a short circuit
so I started chasing this short and I opened up the under hood relay and fuse box. Long story I know. Found it’s pulling this 75 ohms thru the ECM relay
I’ve disconnected both connectors from the ECM still have the short.
haven’t even tore into the P0012 yet.
so if anyone has had to chase one of these down before. What was the fix???
