Inside door handle won’t work

Inside door handle won’t work
I have a 2011 CX-7, just purchased it a month ago, do not know too much about the car yet.
All doors will lock and unlock, but the driver’s door just won’t open(inside). For the last 2 days I have been needing to roll down the window, to pull on the outside handle, just to open the door, then roll up the window again.
If I could get some opinions, before I need to take it to a mechanic, I would very much appreciate it.
