Head Lights
Just purchased my wife a CX7 with the Grand Touring Package. Great truck/thingy so far. Has a few minor glitches which the dealer should take care of this Saturday. Really to soon to give a report on the mileage with the premium fuel.
There is one interesting, and annoying item regarding the headlights. The leveling light deal seems to work, at least on one side, but realizing the low beam lights are xenon fusion (what ever that means), there is a definite "line" across the roadway. On top of the "line" it is absolutely dark and below the line, white light. If you switch to high beams, it seems this is the way the low beams should be as there is no definitive line between darkness and light. Additionally, with the low beams on, the "line" has a jagged area as though one of the lights is lower than the other. This area moves with the "line" as the leveler (spelled right?) power is applied. Hope this is repairable and has anyone else heard anything about this, or am I just not familiar with xenon fusion lights.
