Exclamation CX7 - Turbo Oil Leak - No Start

Hi guys - first time posting here. Thanks for any advice / suggestions
I have a friend who owns a 2011(??) CX7 and I am posting in their behalf. Coworker has taken car to dealership due to a starting issue and they have returned saying that they need to replace the turbo due to oil leak. The oil leak is why the car wont start at times because the leak or oil is on the starter contacts - causing no start / erratic starting. They previously took the car to another dealership and dealer replaced the battery positive cable and said suggested a new starter to resolve issue. As you can see this is different repair diagnosis from the 2nd dealership. I work on my own cars (Honda/Toyota) and have mechanical repair knowledge which is why I'm posting here - because I believe in asking other owners about common problems. So how valid does this sound? Should they just go ahead with the $2500 turbo replacement? Could there be some other options? Oil leak on starter solenoid is valid ??? I have recommended they get a second opinion from a non-dealership repair shop like "Christian Brothers" or Mazda specialist repair shop.

Thoughts / opinions / suggestions

Thanks

Travis

Turbo is on the opposite side of the engine to the starter.
