Hi there, new to this forum but we have a 2009 Mazda CX-7 with 287000km on it. Vehicle runs flawless and no alarming engine noises at all but have been reading recently about the timing chain issues and am wondering if this is something worth just getting replaced anyways at this many km or see how it does for a while. The car doesn’t get more that probably 15 to 20k km each year on it. Thanks!

 

If its not making any weird noise's, hot or cold, idling or driving, I won't spend money on a problem that doesn't exist.
