Default CX-7 Rear door lock issue

Hello

recently my rear door locks have been sticking. I am either forced to manually turn the lock open or press the unlock button multiple times. I can hear the little motor working. Its likely they need to be lubricated. Does anyone know the best way to get lubrication to the mechanism? Ive added some lube to the lock mechanism at the edge of the door already and its still sticks.

Please advise.

Thanks for your help

Default Door Locks

They are not sticking, they are failing. This is a common problem with this model. There is a plastic piece in the lock motor that regularly fails prematurely. I have had to replace both of my rear motors. And the worst part is you can't buy the motor seperately. It comes as a whole assembly with a new internal door latch. They run about $100 a side for the part. They are not to bad to install. Someone with some basic auto repair knowledge can do it in a couple of hours per side. Sorry for the bad news.
