Battery change now p0506 code
I recently changed the battery in our 2007 cx 7. After the normal resetting the radio, power windows, we got a check engine light. The car is idling rough and the code came up as p0506.
I saw online where Mazda 3's of the same era had similar problems, and the computer needed to "re learn" the IAC as it is dirty from years of use. Is this possibly from the battery change?

Turn the key on, turn off the stereo & A/C, turn off key.
Disconnect your battery.
Clean your MAF & Throttle body.
Reconnect battery.
Start vehicle, making sure lights, A/C, heater fan are all OFF.
Let it idle until it warms up, go for a drive & see what happens.
