Default Back up lights quit working 2008 CX 7

Back up light quit working. Is there a fuse I can replace to get them going? If not, where would the backup light switch be located?

Back up switch ( reverse light switch ) Is either a separate switch on the casing of the manual gearbox, or part of the gear position switch on the automatic transmission.

Have you checked & tested the bulbs?

the bulbs are all good. I have an automatic transmission. Interesting enough, I called a Mazda dealer and talked to their parts department and the could not find a reverse switch for that model. There has to be one somewhere.

There is no dedicated reverse switch on the auto's - only the manual gearbox.

How did you test the bulbs?
Do you have 12v+ & earth at the bulb sockets?

I had a backup camera put in my car awhile back. The camera still works/ Is it possible that a wire could have loosened up and disconnected the backup lights?
